CURRENT OPPORTUNITY: Counter Sales Associate - Seattle, WA
Perform all sales and operation functions at the store sales counter, including order processing, product application, pricing, etc. This is an excellent opportunity for job seekers who have experience in working in the HVAC industry. The hours are Monday-Friday approximately 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., with holidays and weekends off.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Assist customers with sales, questions on products, and any other information as needed.
Learn and use all cross-reference materials and find alternate product if needed.
Process orders and returns, and fill out all necessary paperwork neatly and properly.
Handle customers phone sales and questions as you would at the counter.
Process ship outs and will call orders, as well as returns.
Clean, organize and stock showroom and counter area.
Maintain cash drawer.
Works well as a team player while following all Company Policy/Store Standards.
OTHER DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Assist with warehouse duties.
Process UPS Call Tags online.
Attend training classes.
Work on special projects as assigned.
EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and one to three years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Past experience will include customer service, sales and a fair amount of technical knowledge in HVAC/R.
OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
Intermediate computer skills.
Organized and able to prioritize work.
Able to operate office equipment.
Good written and verbal communication skills required along with having good listening skills.
